Scene Pics: GLAM the Ekka Eve Edition.

Wow what a pretty epic few days. First there was Queensland’s biggest ever same-sex marriage rally. Approximately 2000 people. Epic or what? There’s no denying the momentum for marriage equality is building.

As many of you know Wednesday was the Ekka Day Races, so that meant Tuesday turned into a Saturday night for most people including yours truly. So what happens when there’s a public holiday in Queensland? We have GLAM at Family night club. Brisbane’s home to the widely successful and my favorite place to party, Fluffy.

Needless to say I woke up Wednesday with the hangover of hangovers. If you value your liver, DON’T MIX SPIRITS or at least know what your limits are.  I won’t lie, I have very few memories of the night, except that I remember seeing Jessica Mauboy who was utterly amazing, I danced and probably drank way too much.

Thank God our photographer Brendan Burke was out taking photos, so I’ve been able to fill in the blanks.
