That’s right, ADR Studio has found a manufacturer, which means you’ll soon be able to buy a standalone device to capture and print Instagram snaps. The Polaroid for the modern era as you might like to call it.

Word is, the camera will come with 16GB of storage, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 4:3 touchscreen and two main lenses – the first for main capture, second for 3D filters, webcam applications and QR Code capturing. There’s also an optical zoom, a flash, an internal printer and room for the paper and ink cartridges, and of course Instagram software will also be installed.

The first working models is expected to be out by the end of the year, with sales expecting to start in the middle of 2013. There’s no word on the price at the moment, but without a doubt this will be one of the most sought after little gadgets of next year.

Damn the wait will kill me. I want one now!!!
