How to explain gay rights to an idiot!

There’s been a lot of fear tactics and just plain old bull-shitting being used by opponents of marriage equality within Australian politics as of late. While the below example is to do with gay rights in the United States, there is no denying it  also holds relevance to what is happening here in Australia. Perhaps people like Cory Bernardi could learn a thing or two. However, nothing would make me more happy to see a horny elephant let loose on him, since he seems to know so much about bestiality and all. Douche!
