First Look: Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp as The Lone Ranger and Tonto!

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has taken to Twitter to unveil the first look of Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp riding together as The Lone Ranger and Tonto in Disney’s version of THE LONE RANGER.

It’s a rather different look for The Lone Ranger, with director Gore Verbinski ditching the masked hero’s blue wardrobe for a classier black suit look. While Tonto is a far departure from the stereotypical Native American look we had grown accustomed to seeing,  I’m quite liking this new take on the characters. Let us hope that the movie actually has a decent plot.
