Watch Gregor Schmidinger’s Austrian short film ‘Homophobia’

In support of the International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia (IDAHO), the makers of the Austrian short film Homophobia have released their film for free on YouTube.

Homophobia follows the story of a teenager in the Austrian Military Forces whose feelings for a comrade come to the surface during their last night patrolling the Austrian-Hungarian border.

“Laws can prevent people from doing crimes, but they don’t change people’s thinking. Art can touch people on an emotional level and really make an impact”, says director Gregor Schmidinger, “People often connect homophobia with hate, but it’s really about fear. It’s the fear of the unknown—and sometimes of the unknown within ourselves.”

Brooklyn-based rock duo Kingship has released a music video for their track ‘Wandering Sailor’. In my opinion the vocals are very reminiscent of David Bowie, and I gotta say, I quite like it! Not only is it a catchy tune, but it also has a pretty funky music video with its fair share of hawtness!!!

‘The Dark Knight Rises’ releases a third trailer!!!

After waiting for what feels like forever The Dark Knight Rises finally releases a new trailer, yes that’s right, the third one is finally here. All I can say is OMG! OMG! OMG! As you can guess, I’m pretty freaking excited!!! Rather then me blabbering on check it out below

Yes, I think I just creamed my pants. I can’t help it, I’m a massive Batman fan and have utterly adored Christopher Nolan’s take on my favourite comic superhero. Nolan doesn’t look like he has held back for the conclusion to his epic trilogy.

Here are my thoughts on the new trailer We were told, that The Dark Knight Rises would jump forward 8 years since his encounter with The Joker (Heath Ledger) and Two Face, and the trailer definitely hints at the fact that those eight years may not have been the best years of his life. Bruce Wayne is looking pretty damn beaten, and you will remember in the second trailer we see Bruce walking with a cane. Maybe a broken back, that all fans are hoping is a result of Bane.

Joseph Gordon Levitt’s character John Blake has been mostly left a mystery, while we know his job description is a “beat cop”, in this trailer he seems to be doing a whole lot more, he also seems to know Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) and Bruce Wayne on somewhat familiar grounds. Now let us not forget Catwoman. Anyone that knows the comics would be aware Selina Kyle has fun blurring the line between friend and foe, and in this trailer we see her doing both, right down to fighting alongside Batman. I won’t deny I’m extremely curious to see how Anne Hathaway brings this character to the screen.

Did anyone else jizz themselves at the sight of Batman’s new ride? It’s been confirmed as “The Bat”and it ain’t some car either. I so hope we see more of this in action. The big question I keep asking is when does the fight between Batman and Bane, which finishes with Bane walking away with Batman’s mask actually takes place? Without a doubt Bane is seriously gonna screw Batman up, but just how much?.

There’s so much more I could say about the trailer but with all honesty it would just be speculation.

So instead, what are your thoughts?

The Top Ten Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong

Homosexuality is not natural. Real people always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.
Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
Heterosexual marriage has been around a long time and hasn’t changed at all; women are still property, blacks still aren’t supposed to marry whites.
Straight marriage will be less meaningful if homosexual marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears’ 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
Heterosexual marriages are valid because they produce children. Homosexual couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn’t be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren’t full yet, and the world needs more children.
Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That’s why we have only one religion in North America.
Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That’s why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven’t adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

Oh it all makes sense now. lol

God I love this girl! Beth Ditto was recently shot by photographer Damien Blottière for DEdiCate magazine. The photos are so freak’n cool!!!

I don’t care what anyone say about Beth, I just love the fact that she’s just so comfortable within herself to not give a crap about what people thing. I’ll probably offend peeps when I say this, but real woman have curves, just some have larger ones then others,and that’s okay!

Yep, it’s that time again, The Twilight Saga craze is about to take over the world like a bad case of herpes. Summit has released the first two stills from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 and for the pleasure of those Twi-Hards, I feel obligated to pass them along. I’ll be honest I did like Twilight, but then I read the books, watched the sequels and over time have became somewhat disgusted at the role model that Bella Swan has become to teenage girls. So before I post them, I just have this to say.

You do not have to sacrifice your morals, beliefs and everything about you, just to be with the person you love. With the exception that you’re a Mormon, and if you are, have fun with that.

I will say Kristen Stewart is look pretty damn fine, it’s amazing what a bit of makeup and glitter can do.

We also have one of Taylor Lautner as Jacod. However, he is wearing a t-shirt which is a little disappointing.

DC writer Grant Morrison, the man who defined the character, has finally confirmed what many have suspected for a long time. Batman is kinda gay.

In an an interview with Playboy, he says, “He’s very plutonian in the sense that he’s wealthy and also in the sense that he’s sexually deviant. Gayness is built into Batman. I’m not using gay in the pejorative sense, but Batman is very, very gay. There’s just no denying it. Obviously as a fictional character he’s intended to be heterosexual, but the basis of the whole concept is utterly gay. I think that’s why people like it. All these women fancy him and they all wear fetish clothes and jump around rooftops to get to him. He doesn’t care—he’s more interested in hanging out with the old guy and the kid.”

I mean think about it Catwoman runs around in fetish clothing like an S&M mistress, The Joker is always wearing makeup and Robin wears tights. It all makes sense! LOL.
