Last October it was announced that the last film that River Phoenix completed before his death in 1993 was in the process of being released and today we finally get to see the first trailer for the film, Dark Blood. It’s Special K here with yet another One Direction post. Yes, Mr Chad St. James is gonna have a fit, but I just can’t help it. Brooklyn-based rock duo Kingship has released a music video for their track ‘Wandering Sailor’. In my opinion the vocals are very reminiscent of David Bowie, and I gotta say, I quite like it! Summit has released the first two stills from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 and for the pleasure of those Twi-Hards, I feel obligated to pass them along. I’ll be honest I did like Twilight, but then I read the books, watched the sequels and over time have became somewhat disgusted at the role model that Bella Swan has become to teenage girls. Yes, it’s Special K here with yet another One Direction post. Chad is gonna kill me! LOL. Here we have Harry Styles committing the age old and very heterosexual crotch grab on Liam Payne. While some teenage girls might be terribly heartbroken at such a sight, one must ponder are the boys simply doing it for show? Or perhaps they’re simply refusing to conform to gender and sexuality roles. Chad was telling me, that when he was back in Bible School (go figure!), the boys often joked around like this, slapping each other on the butts, crotch grabs and even showing the white eared elephant. He seemed to think this was because most of the guys attending were often North American jocks, comfortable in their own sexuality. The Wanted released the music video for their new single Chasing The Sun directed by director, X. I have to be straight up, I totally love his art direction that he uses with The Wanted boys. He just seems to capture them at their best. As you might guess, I’m more fan of The Wanted then One Direction. I leave the latter for Special K to post about. This new track has definitely grown on me and the music video has made me fall in love with the boys even more. The video combines the literal meaning of the song with a twist on the boys chasing the sun with some hot female friends, who turn out to be vampires. Yes, I’ve decided to pop THEQIT.com’s cherry with its very first One Direction post. I was talking to fellow blogger Chad St. James the other day and asked him what I thought was a very important question, “Why don’t we cover more of One Direction?” His reply “I’m just hoping they just fade out of existence.” Whether we like to admit it or not, One Direction has taken over the teeny-bopper music scene. The five boys have kind of become household names with their debut singles What Makes You Beautiful and One Thing. Add the constant rumours about their sexuality, and it was only a matter of time before some people dressed up in some preppy clothes, a few shaggy wigs, and bagged the crap out of them.
